Description

Under the guidance of the Managing Director, the COO will be responsible for the planning, management, and profitability of the warehousing company. RESPONSIBILITIES Operations: --------------- * To be responsible for the effective management of the company operations in line with the strategic direction set by the Managing Director * To assume management responsibility for all services and activities of the company in Saudi Arabia. * To ensure an IT/network optimization for the group. * To manage, plan and resources in order to meet global restructuration project of the company with respect to time, quality and costs. * To identify the necessary technical, operational, and commercial resources for the successful execution of operations and future projects. * To hire, coach/mentor, provides direction, and review performance of operations unit staff. * To manage all relations with corporate bodies. * To ensure technical, logistical, and operational support of all ongoing service contracts. * To be responsible for all regular operational reports to both customer and internal hierarchy Sales & Marketing: ---------------------------- * Manage, and develop, the Companies’ contracts with service providers. * To devise and implement effective sales and pricing strategies. * To interact and engage with external parties in order to enhance the reputation of the Company and facilitate the growth of the business. * To gather and monitor information regarding customer satisfaction for continuous improvement of service performance. Finance & Administration: -------------------------------------- * To ensure the consistent timely delivery of fully accurate Financial & Management Reports, including Annual & Monthly Operating Budget, Quarterly Latest Estimates, Monthly Financial Statements, Sales, Production & QA Compliance Reports, Weekly Report. QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE * Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration from an accredited university in the United States, United Kingdom, or Germany. * Masters in Business Administration is a plus. * Posses at least ten (10) years experience in one or more of the fields of Engineering, Business Administration or Economics including five (5) years in the senior management or administrative position. * Knowledge and experience of the warehousing and shipping sector. * Work experience in the GCC is a plus. * Influence & Leadership skills are required, especially to work in a very challenging environment. * Result-oriented, cost-minded, capable to handle pressure and to meet deadlines.
